This product can only be used with a Handimove hoist.
The Handimove SureHands Body Support Small can be used with a Handimove ceiling track hoist to facilitate independent transfers between your bed and your wheelchair. You decide when you get up or go to sleep!
The Handimove SureHands Body Support Small is a hinged, stainless-steel mechanism that automatically grips your upper body as result of pressure on the leg supports. It can provide independence when self hoisting as fitting a more traditional sling to yourself can often be a difficult task. This provides a more simple alternative.
The patented thigh support provides a sustained good and comfortable position in the body support. The pressure under the thighs holds the leg supports in their current position, once the tension is gone, it can easily be moved to another position. The length of the leg support bands are adjustable to your size and the markings allow you to easily verify that both leg support bands are at the same set length.
For anyone who has a Handimove ceiling motor and sufficient use of their arms and hands, the Handimove body support is an outstanding aid for independent movement to the bed, toilet, and so on.
The body support can be fitted faster and more easily than a sling. This is an advantage for the user as well as the caregiver. Dressing and undressing are easy thanks to the fully unencumbered bottom and back region. Lifting is easy and convenient with the body support. The pressure from the soft side supports is proportional to the weight of the user. The lower body is held by two leg supports. You can use the same body support to lift a child or an adult. You can quickly switch between a body support and a spreader bar with a sling.
Equestrian centres with hoisting equipment can use the body support as a simplified means of transfer, the rider can easily mount or dismount. Thanks to the unique support system, the user's bottom is entirely free.
Without the leg pieces attached the body support can provide a support function during walking rehabilitation. The user must have some level of weight bearing ability for this.
