Ceiling Track Hoists

Installation

The installation is generally very quick and creates very little disturbance.  Firstly in order for you to obtain an accurate price prior to installation a survey of your property is required, here we look at the structure, discuss your specific needs and assess the environment to ascertain if all elements fit together for a practical solution.  From here we're able to provide you with a quotation.

A typical basic installation time can be as little a couple of hours and ordinarily very little has to be moved from the room in which the hoist is to be installed in.  If the hoist is ever to be removed it's normally the case that all is left behind are a few small holes in either the wall or the ceiling that are easily filled.

Usage

Ceiling track hoists are generally much easier to use than floor or mobile hoists as they are known.  We generally recommend a manual traverse hoist which simply means that the hoist is effortlessly moved down the track manually by hand, the up and down functions are still powered.  The hoist runs so freely on the track that even at full capacity it is still a breeze.

There are a number of emergency functions on the hoist such as emergency stop and emergency lowering.  Full training on the features on the hoist is given at the end of each installation.  A more comprehensive moving and handling session can be arranged at an additional cost.
