The Klip2Lift Handling Jacket has been developed as a means to provide support to those who require assistance when gait training, who require assistance when standing or rehabilitation. It promotes safer handling and support for the handler as well as a dignified approach for the user.
The Klip2Lift Handling Jacket is made from a breathable spacer material and is designed to be worn by those who may require guidance of direction control when walking or as an aid for rehabilitation. The jacket has discreet handles at the back and one on each side seam to offer a firm hold for the handler when necessary.
Feedback has been excellent and the jacket is well tolerated by the user, often blending well into school uniform and becoming part of the everyday dressing routine. The jacket has been successfully used in Schools and within the home environment for ambulant children with unpredictable mobility patterns or behaviour that challenges.
The discreet handles offer the handler a secure point for guidance and direction control when encouraging the user to stand from the floor or to encourage participation in activities or gait training, scapula handles and additional horizontal handles at the base of the jacket can be added to assist with rehabilitation.
