The M2 Flexi-Tip Shower Chair with Horseshoe Aperture Seat and Head Support is a multi function shower commode chair with electrically operated tilt in space function and backrest recline.
The M2 Flexi-Tip Shower Chair with Horseshoe Aperture Seat and Head Support chair is suitable for users who have had hip surgery, users in pain, users with bone cancer, sclerosis, palsy, spasticity, users with low tone, brain damaged and neurological users.
The combined tilt and recline functions also make the chair useful for easier positioning for those that are hoisted. The seat can be angled 7 degrees forward and 37 degrees backwards. The angle between the backrest and seat can be adjusted from 85 degrees to 130 degrees and both angles can be locked in position through the control box.
As standard, one of the wheels is a direction controlled wheel. (dark grey brake) This will ease the manoeuvring and secure the working environment for the helper. The chair is height adjustable through the telescopic legs and can be adjusted in 4 different positions.
The flexible net weave backrest is easy to adjust and gives a good, comfortable support for the back. With the adjustment it is possible to make the backrest fit most users.
The M2 Flexi-Tip Shower Chair with Horseshoe Aperture Seat and Head Support comes with fold up armrests with locks to prevent unnecessary movement when not required. The armrests have PU foam padding on the top surface.
The horseshoe aperture seat comes as standard with a lid which can be used for transfers between rooms or perhaps to hide the contents of a commode pan beneath. The commode pan is sold separately via our website. The large gap in the front aids personal care.
The chair is supplied with standard pair of height adjustable footrests. If a full range of movement at the joints cannot be achieved you may wish to consider adding a pair of adjustable leg supports from our accessories page.
This package also contains a height and depth adjustable head support and a mesh calf strap to provide support to the legs and feet when tilted.
